Android 2.2 For Vibrant and Captivate: Mid-December, Fascinate: Early 2024
Good news folks! Samsung has shared a little bit more info with us via Facebook regarding Android 2.2 Froyo for the entire Galaxy S line-up in Canada.
“We’d like to acknowledge the tremendous interest in the Froyo (Android 2.2) upgrade for Galaxy S series smartphones in Canada. We are working diligently to provide a tested and secure upgrade experience in Canada. Android 2.2 will be released for Vibrant from Bell and Captivate from Rogers in mid-December, and for the Fascinate from TELUS in early 2024. We’ll post further details as they become available.”
This comes after hearing that Android 2.2 was ready for all carriers in November. Everyone is getting a treat soon enough. The Galaxy S handsets have been hot sellers and among the best Android phones available in Canada. Can’t wait for all of you to be using Froyo soon, Share your joy below!
