Rumoured HTC Phablet To Come With 5.9″ Display And Snapdragon 800 Processor
Just a couple of days ago we got word that HTC could be working on a phablet to compete against the king of phablets, the Galaxy Note II (and soon the Galaxy Note III). Today some more rumours have surfaced regarding this mysterious device. According to BNP Paribas Securities Taiwan analyst, Laura Chen, the HTC phablet will feature a 5.9″ display and an “upgrade processor” which could possibly be the new Snapdragon 800 chip.
Chen also revealed some details regarding a couple of other phones that should be on the way to market soon. The HTC M4, which is expected to be a mini version of the HTC One, could be launching as soon as next month although countries were not revealed. A sequel to the HTC Butterfly is also in the works and could be on the market as soon as Q3.
If these phones are anything like the HTC One in terms of quality and performance, then HTC is officially back in the game. Their marketing is still abysmal and needs to be fixed for them to be really competitive but the One itself is speaking very loudly for HTC.
