Rumour: Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
It seems that today is all about the rumours and we’ve got another for you. SamMobile, a well known source for all things Samsung has been tipped off to the existence of yet another Galaxy Note product, the Galaxy Note 8.0. It appears that this device is going to go right after the iPad mini with it’s 7.9″ size. Here’s the full specs of the rumoured device:
Code name: Kona
Android: version 4.2 Jelly Bean
Official name: GALAXY Note 8.0 (3G, Wi-Fi)
Product codes: GT-N5100, GT-N5110
Battery: 4600 mAh
Dimension: 211.3×136.3×7.95 mm , 330 gram.

Camera 5 Megapixel (BACK)
Camera 1.3 megapixel (FRONT)
RAM + Storage: 2GB (RAM) + 16/32GB (optional) + microSD (up to 32GB)
Connections: BT 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS
Looks like a decent device and an 8 incher would definitely be a welcome addition as it would fit between that “too small to do work” experience on a 7″ and the “too big to lug around” problem of a 10.1″. Plus, with the S-Pen and that functionality I can see this really appealing to the business crowd.
There’s no word on release or pricing but if this is indeed a real device, which I would give a 85% chance, it could show up at MWC in February and would likely be priced under the iPad mini.
Would any of you be interested in an 8 inch Galaxy Note?
