Now before you get too excited I advise you to take this news with a huge grain of salt!  This is a RUMOUR and should be taken as such but it’s an interesting enough story that I felt I should write about it.  Now to the story.

According to Korean website, ET News, Samsung is once again looking to change up their build materials for the next iteration of the Galaxy S.  According to the site, Samsung will opt for metal (likely aluminum) in the phone that will likely be known as the Galaxy S5.  Now this isn’t much of a surprise as similar rumours had surfaced when we were awaiting the Galaxy S4 but as we all know, that didn’t come to be.

What’s particularly interesting with this story though is that apparently the prototype for the body, which was created in Europe, has already been sent to Vietnam where it will be mass produced.  Now if this is indeed true, I wouldn’t  be surprised if a leaked picture or two surfaces of this metallic body in the future.  However, I’m still a little skeptical of the whole story.  We’ll be sure to keep our eyes out for any new news but for now, file this into the rumour column.
