Mysterious Rectangular Samsung Device Gets Pictured
A mysterious Samsung device has surfaced on the web. Not only do we know nothing about it but the design is very unlike anything we’ve seen before from the Samsung camp. As you can see, the device is very very rectangular and in a lot of ways reminds me of a Lumia device. It still keeps that iconic Galaxy home button though and likely has a capacitive button on each side. It also appears to be runnning Android as the above picture looks very much like the Bluetooth setting.
So what are people thinking this is? Well as this picture surfaced so quickly after rumours about a redesigned Galaxy Note that was ditching the plastic construction came forth, many are speculating that this is a prototype of the next Galaxy Note. To further fuel that speculation, there appears to be what looks like a S-Pen slot on the bottom of the device.
My honest guess is that this is simply some prototype that will never see the light of day. I don’t think it’s necessarily our first look at the next Note as the screen looks rather small. Of course it’s difficult to tell as there’s nothing around the phone to really reference off of but the screen just looks small.
If this is the next Note, I’m definitely not opposed to the new design. I actually think it looks pretty decent. We’ll have to wait and see what Samsung has for us next.
