Big Galaxy Announcement Coming August 15
Samsung has announced that they will be announcing a new Galaxy device on August 15.
Initially many believed that this BIG announcement would be the BIG phone/tablet, the Galaxy Note 2. But according to newer tips and sources, that will not be the case. The Galaxy Note 2 is still predicted to be released at the end of August at IFA.
So what is it that they will be announcing on August 15? The guess now is that it will be the previously announced Galaxy Note 10.1 The Galaxy Note 10.1 was initially announced back at Mobile World Congress back in February. Its sported a dual-core processor, 10.1″ screen, and of course the infamous S-Pen. Even back then it looked like a great device.
But in it’s most recent sighting, the device got even sweeter. The processor was beefed up with the same Exynos quad-core processor that is found in the international Galaxy S III. They also remodelled the device a bit to include a S-Pen slot, something that was previously absent in the design.
Of course everything is just rumours right now. Maybe Samsung has some other device up it’s sleeves that we don’t even know about yet. Only time will tell.
