A Trio Of New Sony Devices Could Be Coming This Year

Sony Xperia

Sony is working hard to get back into the realm of smartphone supremacy and so far in 2024 they are off to a good start.  Their co-flagship devices, the Xperia Z and Xperia Zl both look great and have garnered a lot of attention in the tech world.  And it looks like Sony is looking to keep the momentum going with three new devices that could launch this year.

The first device is currently known as the Xperia A (codename Dogo) and is reportedly headed to NTT DoCoMo in Japan.  It will features a 4.6″ HD Display, Snapdragon 600 Quad-Core Processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB Internal Storage.  The battery will be around 2300 mAh and the body, like the Xperia Z, should be water resistant and dust proof (this is probably my favourite feature of these new phones).  It is expected that variants of this phone could launch globally.

Next up is the Xperia UL (codename Gaga).  This phone is supposedly similar to the Xperia ZL design wise  and will feature a 5″ 1080p display, Snapdragon 600 Quad-Core Processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB Internal Storage, and a removable 2300 mAh battery.  This one will also be water resistant and dust proof.

The last of this trio (and probably the one that intrigues me the most) is currently only known as Togari.  The biggest feature on this phone is the screen size which comes in at a massive 6.4″.  That definitely puts this phone in the phablet category and then some.  No other specs are currently given on this phone but like the Xperia A, it is expected to head to NTT DoCoMo.

Now this report is all rumour right now but it’s not hard to think that Sony would be working on new phones, one of them being a phablet.  As we hear more about these mysterious device we’ll be sure to let you all know.
