Upcoming Acer Tablet A Beast In Benchmarks

Acer-logoThe flow of new Android tablets and smartphones never stops and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down either. Actually companies churn out devices more quickly than we can talk about them, let alone buy one. One week 1080p screens are the best, the next we’re already looking for a 4K screen on our tablets.

Following that trend Acer is to unleash a device that tops out everything we have on market today. Even better the device is supposed to be quite affordable, which is actually difficult to believe given the awesome specs.

A recent benchmark leaked online and, if it holds true, on the way is an Acer device powered by a Tegra 4 chipset backed up by 2GB of RAM and with an impressive 2560×1344. The CPU is already quite amazing, but the screen itself is even more so give it tops the retina screen on the iPad and matches the Chromebook Pixel’s amazing screen.

The device was rumoured to be priced around $200, but given it has almost double the power of the Nexus 7 and a screen that puts all tablet displays to shame it’s hard to believe so. Whatever price tag it comes with, it’s an amazing tablet nonetheless, but since this is only a rumour for now, you should just wait and see what comes out of this.
