New Pebble App with Appstore for Android Now Available [Devs Only]
Beta version of the upcoming Pebble app for Android that includes the all new Pebble appstore, is now available for download for anyone who has a developer account. As highlighted by AndroidCentral, Pebble has posted the beta Android app (version 2.0-BETA8) on its developer site to give developers a head start on making sure their apps interact properly with the Pebble appstore.
“We love Android and feature parity is extremely important for us. We are releasing today a beta of the Pebble Android mobile app that includes the Pebble appstore to all developers.”
The official Pebble announcement notes that since this is a BETA release, it comes with some known issues which they are already working on, such as errors with device pairing or inability to configure an app if it is running on your Pebble, among other bugs.
