New Leaked Pics Of Upcoming HTC Flagship M7
A lot of HTC fans (myself included) have been waiting anxiously to see what the company has in store for 2024, given its poor financial results of 2024. A lot of rumours have been pointing towards next month’s Mobile World Congress as the expected moment for HTC to unveil the M7, their latest entry into the superphone realm. As we reported last week, all we’ve seen is a rendered image of the device, but today, Android Police received some pics from an anonymous source claiming to have insider access to the device.
It seems as though the M7 will largely resemble the Droid DNA with its largely squarish design with rounded corners and a rounded back. Also, if you look at the pic on the right, it looks as though HTC has switched the location of the home and task-switcher buttons. The home button has been moved to the far-right, with the task-switcher button now in the middle. Hmmm.
Along with the images above, the anonymous source also provided an image of what to expect with Sense 5.0.
As you can see, it looks quite different from what we’ve seen on this year’s Sense 4.0. It seems we should expect brand-new buttons, widgets, and special areas on the homescreen for widgets related to personalized news, social media updates, and tutorials. Overall, it seems like a very minimalist approach compared to the bright colours and 3D graphics in 4.0.
As mentioned above, HTC is expected to announce the device at this year’s MWC in Barcelona in February. Rumoured specs are as follows:
- 4.7″ 1080p SoLux Display
- 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB Internal Storage
- 13MP f/2.0 Camera
- 2MP Front Facing Camera
