Motorola Atrix Headed To Bell Canada
Among the top new smartphones at this year’s CES, The Motorola Atrix was the one that impressed everyone the most. Not only did it wow geeks with its list of functionalities and specs, but we also found out that along with an AT&T release in the US, it’s officially coming to one of our carriers as well, Bell Canada.
This phone has a sweet 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual-Core processor with an insane 1GB of RAM, A 1930 mAh battery, 5MP Camera with 720p recording and a front-facing camera, 802.11n WiFi with support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. That’s definitely the best specs i’ve seen listed for any smartphone to date. 4-inch qHD display with a 960 x 540 display resolution. Ships with Android 2.2 Froyo with 2.3 Gingerbread on its way in due time.
Motorola also announced a number of accessories which includes a car dock, desktop dock and a laptop dock that gives you access to a full browser in a Linux operating system powered by the phone that allows you to access your mobile apps and use the full-sized keyboard and trackpad to navigate. Crazy stuff and I hope it comes along with the Atrix itself when it arrives in Canada.
Still no word on pricing but that’s just a matter of time. Very excited to get our hands on this phone.
