We’re approaching one of the biggest events in the industry – CES 2024 to be more precise, which will be hosted in Las Vegas in early January.
Like many Android OEMs, ASUS is also going to be present on the ground at CES 2024 with a few new products. The Taiwanese smartphone maker has already sent out the invites for its “Zennovation” event which features both ASUS and Qualcomm branding.
Of course the ASUS teaser doesn’t reveal anything specific, but we can speculate that the company is planning to unveil its next-gen Zenfone 4 phone which will probably take advantage of the services of the newly announced Snapdragon 835.
Since the Zenfone 3 already packs a hefty 6GB of RAM onboard, it makes sense to assume ASUS’ next flagship could come boasting 8GB of RAM.
Not so long ago, information surfaced online claiming ASUS is prepping a Zenfone AR device which will take advantage of Google’s Tango “sensing” smartphone. The same source revealed that the Zenfone 4 series is scheduled to make a debut this spring, so maybe we’re not going to see a new Zenfone 4 at CES after all, but a new phone lineup.
Lenovo was the first to launch a Google Tango phone in the form of the Phab 2 Pro and naturally other handset makers are expected to follow suit.
Sounds quite exciting and we can’t wait for CES 2024.
