The Play Store is a crowded place and Google wants to make sure you’re able to filter the bad apps from the good apps. So it has given users a new tool – it’s called the “Android Excellence” collection and you can find it under the Editors’ Choice tab in the Play Store.
The collection is made up of two lists, one for apps and another for games. Google’s purpose here is twofold. It wants to help users identify worthy apps easier, but it’s also using the collection as an example for developers who want to create above average apps.
The titles included in the Android Excellence series take advantage Google’s best practices, but also boast a great design, technical performance, localization and device optimization.
Google will update the two lists quarterly and the first two are already available for your viewing pleasure. Check them out below:
