Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Might Be Unveiled in Late August
Despite the grand Galaxy Note7 disaster, Samsung is determined to continue the Galaxy Note lineage. So in a few months the Korean tech giant will roll out the successor of the fiery phablet, the Galaxy Note 8.
According to industry insiders we might get to see the Note 8 sooner than expected. Previous rumours have indicated the phone could arrive in Q4. But a new report coming out of the Korean Herald paints a different story.
In order to keep customers from flocking to the new iPhone 8, Samsung will apparently launch the Galaxy Note 8 ahead, sometime in late August. Apple’s next flagship should go live in September.
Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch Infinity Display similar to the one found in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The phone will probably come with a Snapdragon 835 under the hood, just like Samsung’s other two flagships. Depending on market, some Galaxy Note 8 units will ship with an Exynos 8890 instead.
The Note 8 is expected to be the first Samsung flagship to feature a dual camera setup and 6GB of RAM. Of course a new, improved version of Samsung’s S Pen stylus will also be included. More info about the phablet will probably be revealed soon.
