Kit Kat/Nexus 5 Announcement To Happen October 15 According To Latest Report
While the above Android Kit Kat looks delicious (it’s lunch time and I’m hungry!) there’s another Android KitKat that many of us are looking forward to, Android 4.4 Kit Kat. Current rumours were pointing to October 14 as the announcement date for Android 4.4 and the Nexus 5 but a new report says that these two wonderful treats will be announced on October 15.
The new date comes from murmurings and the overhearing of developers at Google Launchpad, a ”two-week boot camp for early stage start-ups helping with subjects including user interface, product strategy & technology, marketing, business development and more.”
In terms of the pricing, those same murmurings say that the price will not exceed 300 Euros which means the previously leaked pricing could be on point. The actual launch date of the Nexus 5 wasn’t mentioned but many point at the 31st for that release.
Again, still all rumours at this point but we’re getting pretty darned close to the 15th so an announcement of the event should surface soon enough.
