Key Specs For The Sony Xperia ZU Confirmed In Screenshots
The Sony Xperia ZU could be making its debut very soon. Sony is holding an event in Germany on June 25 which could debut the device. And it doesn’t happen then, it’ll likely happen on July 4 in Paris (remember the invite with the stylus and rather large looking phone?). Specs are still not firm but they’re definitely coming more and more into focus.
Today some pictures leaked online showing some screenshots supposedly from the Xperia ZU. For the most part, the screenshots confirmed previous rumoured specs: Snapdragon 800, Adreno 330, 16GB Internal and 2GB RAM. However, as you can see in the pictures above, the screen size is not listed at the massive 6.44″ we’re all expecting; instead it’s listed at a slightly less massive 6.21″. Now it is possible (and likely) that the lost 0.23″ has to do with the on screen buttons but even if it is 6.21″ it’s still one massive phone.
The only other significant detail to gather from these leaks is that the device should run at least Android 4.2.2. Other than that, not much more to be seen for now. Can’t wait to see this! Anybody else excited for this?
