Rogers HTC One X Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out

Good news HTC fans.  No, it’s not the announcement of their next flagship phone but it is an announcement of their current flagship, the HTC One X.  According to Rogers customers, the HTC One X is now getting its Jelly Bean upgrade, bringing the device to Android 4.1.1.

The update is rather large, at 634MB, so you may want to be connected to Wi-Fi if you don’t have a large data plan.  Actually, you may not even be able to download it unless you’re connected to Wi-Fi.  That tends to vary from phone to phone.

So what does all those MB bring to your phone?  Well your phone will now be buttery smooth thanks to Project Butter and you’ll also have Google Now, Google’s version of an assistant.  You also get improved notification that can be pinched in and out in the pull down and just a nicer overall experience.

So if you haven’t gotten a notification to update your phone, jump into your settings and see if you can’t force the update.  Let us know what other goodies you find if you happen to be wielding one of these pretty devices.
