International Galaxy S III Gets Android 4.1.2

While all the Galaxy S III users here in Canada are just getting their first taste of Jelly Bean 4.1, those who are rocking the international version of the phone are beginning to get Android 4.1.2.  While there’s not a huge difference overall, there are some key tweaks that Samsung has made to the phone that definitely make this an update to look forward to.

First it seems that the new software will bring the multi-window support seen in the Galaxy Note II (although not our Galaxy Note II’s).  The update also adds the Galaxy Note II gallery, Smart Rotation, Paper Artist, Group Cast, and the highly anticipated SwiftKey Flow.

Currently the update is rolling out in Poland with other countries to follow suit soon enough.  The update will be had OTA or through Kies for those who are lucky enough to have the international version of the phone. For the rest of you, you’ll  just have to wait for the Canadian version now.
