Swarovski’s First Smartwatch Will Run on a Snapdragon 835
CES 2024 has opened its doors and is welcoming tech enthusiasts from all over the world to see the latest products.
Chipmaker Qualcomm was also present at the event to talk more about its next-gen premium chipset, the Snapdragon 835. We expect the SoC which is based on the 10nm FinFet process to power this year’s most anticipated flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi6 or HTC 11.
But as it turns out the first device to be announced with Snapdragon 835 isn’t actually a smartphone…but a smartwatch. Which comes from an unlikely source.

Qualcomm announced it was partnering up with diamond producer Swarovski for their first Android Wear smartwatch. The Austrian company is not a stranger to intelligent timepieces. If you remember a while back Swarovski produced a custom made strap for the Samsung Gear S and Huawei Watch.
Well now the luxury goods producer is diving head first into the world of smartwatches. The wearable will probably be one of the fastest on the market, given that it will have a Snapdragon 835 under the hood and will run Android Wear 2.0 out of the box.
If you find this announcement enticing let us tell you the smartwatch is bound to be show its face at Beselworld 2024 which will start on March 23.
