Samsung Will Release A Galaxy S7 Mini In Order To Rival The iPhone 7 SE

If you’ve been following the news from *ahem* the other side, Apple is expected to announce a 4-inch “iPhone SE” by March 21st. But as always, Samsung has something up its sleeves.
According to a report from a source in Taiwan, Samsung is planning on releasing a Galaxy S7 Mini sometime this year in order to compete with this new mid-cycle iPhone release. While it’s still very early, specs for the phone have been listed as follows: 4.6-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 820/Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC with 3GB of RAM and a 12MP camera with 3X optical zoom.

Already this sounds like a beast however some may not prefer a 720p screen on a phone in 2024, but then again, the iPhone SE may come with a 1152 x 648 screen just like the iPhone 5 and 5s.
