Samsung wants more apps for your Android, offering cash prizes

Despite some of the rumours re-surfacing again about Samsung potentially looking for another OS (sorry, I mentioned it in a previous post, so now the rumour comes around again).

Well, hopefully this can dispel some of those rumours, as they did with the S-Pen app challenge, they’re now offering a contest for “Smart Apps” targeting their tablet and ‘phablet’ which don’t often see a lot of app specific love.

The contest is running all summer long and is promising over 4 MILLION dollars in prizes (over 80 winners)!

So, who’s saying Samsung is looking to abandon Android now?
