Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note8 during an event scheduled for August 23 in New York and while we wait on that, here are the first official press renders revealing the phone in its full glory, S Pen included.
The device is shown both in Black and Gold color versions, with the dual camera setup being visible as well. This time around Samsung has placed the dual LED flash between the camera lenses and fingerprint scanner in an attempt to reduce potential lens smudging.
The successor of last year’s notorious Galaxy Note7, the Galaxy Note8 is expected to make a debut with a 6.3-inch Infinity Display which means minimal bezels and the 18:5:9 aspect ratio will be making a comeback in August.
Like the Galaxy S8, the Galaxy Note8 will take advantage of a powerful Snapdragon 835 processor working hand in hand with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
As for the photography department, the camera will allegedly pair a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 13-megapixel wide-angle set to improve low-light performance for 3D mapping and distance measurements. Samsung recently patented an optically-stabilized dual camera system cable of 3x zooming, so we can assume the Note8 will be the first handset to offer this feature.
How do you like the Galaxy Note8 so far?
