Again, so much has happened, that it’s really REALLY hard to keep up with it anymore.  I might just have to throw in the towel with this series (it doesn’t get as much reads anyways)

• Motorola and the Gallery swiping patent from Apple

So Apple has a new beef with Android, specifically against Motorola somehow, and how the Gallery let’s you switch through pictures in the app with a swipe (pretty sure my palm let me do that way back).

• Gizmodo’s “If Apple wins, we all lose” article

A neat little article from Giz (who’s often OVERLY Apple) about their take on the whole patent war scenario.

• Judge calls Apple’s argument “disingenuous”

Okay, I know I knew the word, but I had to look it up.

Couldn’t have summed it up better meself!

This came about due to the Motorola lawsuit brought against Apple in Chicago, I guess somebody’s wisening up to Apple’s game.

• Apple applies for ‘face unlock’ patent

Hmm… I wonder which company they’ll go after with this now?  Don’t you just wish they’d stick to … ya know … innovating, and making something ‘new’?

• Chinese manufacturers band together

After seeing how the rest of the world is fairing with all their battles against Apple, several Chinese manufacturers of Android devices have decided to band together to weather the potential onslaught.  Smart move.

• Google acquires more patents from IBM

A brand new Android 4.0, barely out, and we see that Apple’s starting to circle, so Google is readying itself.

• No go for Samsung v. Apple in Italy

As the battle with Sammy and Apple raging across the globe, Apple gains another win as Samsung’s injunction for a ban falls through in Italy.
