For all you Nexus 5X and 6P owners not upgrading to Google’s newest version of Android, the company has recently released an update to 6.0.1.
The update was first released to the Nexus 5X and it contained various fixes related to the fingerprint sensor, camera, general system performance and even Wi-Fi connectivity improvements. After looking at the initial response, Google has followed up with an update to the Nexus 6P. Aside from the performance improvements, it includes the following fixes:
- General device performance
- DND next alarm disappearing issue
- Carrier-specific bug fixes
- Connectivity improvements
The update itself is available as a factory image as always, but an OTA will be pushed to your device within the next two weeks.
