Present at IFA 2024, Lenovo finally unveiled the often leaked Moto X4 during a special event this week. The phone comes with a 5.2-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution with Gorilla Glass 4 and Snapdragon 630 chipse under the hood. Lenovo went for a glass/metal design with the Moto X4 and also made it waterproof (IP68 certified).
The product features 3GB of RAM + 32GB of expandable storage, as well as a dual-camera setup which pairs 12-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 and Dual Pixel autofocus with an 8-megapixel sensor with 120-degree ultra-wide angle with f/2.2 lens, phase-detection and ultra-wide angle shot. When it comes to selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel frontal camera with f/2.0 with LET flash living on the front.
As a standout feature, the Moto X4 takes advantage of Bluetooth 5.0 with the option to connect up to 4 wireless speakers.
The phone relies on a 3,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging and boasts an 8mm frame.
Oh and since virtual assistants are everywhere, the Moto X4 comes with Amazon’s Alexa onboard. The phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat and will become available in Super Black and Sterling Blue this autumn globally. Europe will be getting it first through, so if you’re on the old continent you’ll be able to grab it as soon as September for €399 / $590 CAD.
