Rumours have been popping up all over the place about Google’s next phone possibly dubbed ‘Nexus Prime’.
Google’s Nexus phones are ‘pure Google’ phones, where the carriers and manufactures keep their hands out of the software. This means your are left with only Google’s OS without all the advertisements, demos, modded UI, and bloatware of the manufacture and carrier. Nexus phones have proven them selves as a desired phone for these reasons, not to mention they are a modders dream as they are very easy to root and come unlocked.
The ‘Nexus Prime’ is rumoured to have the following features:
- 720P resolution display, branded as Super AMOLED HD
- TI OMAP4460 Dual-Core Processor
- Come pre-loaded with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
- 32Gb internal storage
This is still in early development stages, so things could change. This is defiantly something for Nexus fan to look forward to. I’m so impressed with the Nexus S, I will be grabbing this phone for sure.
Assuming all this is true, it’s a shame that we Canadians wont see it till around march 2024.
