Only a few days after Google rolled out Android 5.1.1 to all Nexus 9 owners, it seems like it’s time for the Nexus 5 to receive the same.

According to Sprint, Google has now released the Android 5.1.1 update to the carrier, and it also must mean that it is now ready to start creating the OTA and the Android 5.1.1 factory image. Android 5.1 was originally intended as a maintenance release to fix all the problems that came with the original Lollipop version. The upcoming update is expected to finally solve all memory leaks and also fix the bouncing list bug alongside any security patches.

Spring has jumped the gun a few times on this page for previous update so take the Release Date listed on the page with a small grain of salt.
