Can Android use Apple’s iCloud?

As my friends over at iPhoneinCanada.ca have posted, iCloud is making its way over to the iPhoners and it all sounds very well put together as most of Apples stuff is. Google also has its own cloud (US only currently). We already have software, such as Salling Media and Double Twist with Air sync which allows us to bridge the gap into iTunes, so whats stopping Android from hijacking this iCloud?

Obviously Apple is going to have security and restrictions in place for Apple devices only, but what if someone finds a way to bridge the gap? People like myself who use an iPhone and an Android could find this very useful, rather then having a cloud service for each. This is all speculation of course, but it really gets my mind wondering. The Android has some incredible apps and a lot of freedom. I think if a skilled dev put their mind to it we could see it one day.

Do you think it will be possible?
