It’s now February and Google has conveniently updated their Android Distribution numbers accordingly. But there’s more! Lollipop finally shows up. For those still unfamiliar, these numbers are updated by Google at roughly the start of every month for developers to look at so they can generalize what version of Android their potential install base is running and act upon it.

As of today February 2nd, Android 5.0 Lollipop finally makes its debut on the chart as it has been missing since its release in November. Unfortunately, it only holds about a tenth of the chart to sit at 1.6%. KitKat sees another marginal gain to sit at 39.7 up 0.6% from January while Jelly Bean decreased by 1.5% to sit at 44.5% as a whole. Gingerbread continues its decline to 7.4% and Froyo remarkably remains the same from last month at 0.4%.

HTC and Motorola have recently rolled out their Lollipop builds in Canada while Sony has promised it would be releasing Lollipop for their core Xperia devices this month. The rest are expected to start their Lollipop rollout very soon as well (notably OnePlus, LG, Motorola and Samsung).
