We’re only two months away from Google I/O and this when the company is expected to announce the successor to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Speaking of the successor to Marshmallow, known only has Android N for now, the notification bar and quick settings menu has now been leaked.

According to Android Police, they have received several screenshots of what seems to be an internal build of Android N. While they weren’t able to share these said screenshots, they have conveniently provided us with mockups that closely resemble the real deal. First off, the new notification bar looks a lot more streamlined with it stretching across the screen and having smaller app icons corresponding to the notification.

Additionally, the notification bar also provides access to the most commonly used quick toggles similar to what other OEMs have already implemented in their skins. However, the full quick settings menu is still available just like the current version.

Do note that this may change at any time, before the developer preview in May.
