The OnePlus 5 has appeared once again in the rumour mill. A series of images, allegedly snapped using the OnePlus 5, have made their way online for the world to see.
The EXIF data reveals the device that snapped the photos bears the A5000 model number. Given that the OnePlus 3 is A3000, it makes sense to assume the A5000 is the OnePlus 5. On top of that the latitude and longitude of the EXIF data reveals the pictures were taken in Shenzhen, China which once again contributes to the theory (OnePlus is based on Shenzhen, China) these are indeed OnePlus 5 camera samples.
According to a photography expert who looked at these images, the OnePlus 5 might come with a 16-megapixel dual camera setup. It appears one of the sensors will be used to take wide angle photos, while the other will be in charge of capturing more depth info.
If we are to listen to current speculation, the OnePlus 5 should arrive with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 resolution or 1440 x 2560 resolution. It will bring forth a Snapdragon 835 processor and quite possibly up to 8GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB of native storage. It will take advantage of a decent 4,000 mAh battery and will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box (with Oxygen OS onboard). We expect it to make an appearance this summer.
