16 GB Moto G Coming To WIND Mobile Soon

MotoG

The Moto G was one of the first smartphones that came with a really low price while still bringing great performance, all in a decently-sized form factor. The device has been available in Canada since its launch in January but unfortunately, it only came in an 8 GB version which is currently available on Telus, Koodo, and most recently, Virgin.

Even if you were to purchase the phone and unlock it yourself, it still wouldn’t work on a carrier like WIND Mobile which operates on AWS bands (1700/2100 MHz).

But today, there’s good news. WIND Mobile tweeted out that they will finally be carrying the AWS-enabled phone that comes in 16 GB of internal storage. They really know how to kill two birds with one stone here.

Too bad there wasn’t a specific launch date mentioned but howard from HowardForums has said the device will cost $229 outright.

The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with 2 years of 50 GB Google Drive storage and even USB-OTG support to allow for expandable storage from a USB Drive or SD Card adapter.
