Galaxy S II ICS 4.0 Update Now Officially Available
Samsung mentioned that the update to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 would be available to a number of devices sometime very soon. The Galaxy S II has for Bell has finally been pushing the ICS update to their customers. I would imagine after waiting this long, a bunch of you have probably already turned to the custom roms road to get your updates a LOT sooner.
“Bell is pleased to announce Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is now available for Samsung Galaxy S II. Bell is first carrier in Canada to release this major OS update to our clients. It is recommended that clients update their device to the latest version of software to ensure the best possible experience.”
Currently there is no official word as to when other carriers will follow suit, but I have heard terrible rumours that the Galaxy Note has been delayed once again, but that’s really not a big shocker at this point. I’m losing faith and just hoping for a summer release at least…
