Rumour: HTC Selected To Manufacturer “High End” Nexus Tablet
It’s been quite some time since HTC released a tablet (last one was in 2024) and even longer since they made a Nexus device (2024!) but the long hiatus for both may be over. A new report has surfaced in Taiwan stating that HTC has one the bid to manufacture a “high-end” Nexus tablet that will be due out in Q3 of this year!
No details have been released about the device and HTC, not surprisingly, has “declined to comment” on the rumour. Personally, I welcome HTC as the manufacturer of a Nexus device. As I’ve said numerous times before, I loved the Nexus One and I love what they’re currently doing in terms of designs. Even though they failed with tablets before, this particular one will automatically gain a huge following simply because its a Nexus device.
