New Sony Tablet Leaks
I’ve got some more Sony news for you all today. The next Sony tablet has been leaked via some screen shots and I have to say, the device looks nice. The device is now being branded under the Xperia line as well. A move that will help to unify their phone and tablet devies (think Galaxy line for Samsung).
The device has a beautiful aluminium build that comes in 42% thinner than it’s predecessor, the Sony Tablet S. The form factor remains similar with that “folded-magazine” design. It features the same 9.4″ screen as it’s predecessor as well. Under the hood things have been upped a good amount with the device now featuring Tegra 3 quad core processor. In terms of software it should be launching with ICS and we can hope that Jelly Bean would come along shortly after release. There’s also an interesting guest mode that is supposed to allow for a separate profile on the device.
They’ve also got a collection of accessories already available for the device. Covers, covers with keyboards, and all sorts of docks are ready to be paired with this device.
In terms of pricing, it’s ranging from $449.99 to $649.99 USD depending on the storage capacity use choose (16gb. 32gb. 64gb). Released date is speculated to be in September.
So there it is, Sony’s second go at the tablet market. Anybody interested?
