Nexus 4 LTE Shows Up In Benchmark Running Android 4.3
Well it looks like we may have even MORE confirmation that there will be NO new Nexus device and NO new desserts at Google I/O this year. What you see above is a screenshot of a benchmark for the Nexus 4 LTE. As you can see, it is running Android 4.3, which is believed to be an incremental update to Jelly Bean rather than a large jump into Key Lime Pie.
And in case you forgot, the Nexus 4 LTE is reported to be a refreshed Nexus 4 that will debut at I/O. It’s nearly identical to the original Nexus 4 but will add 32GB of internal storage and true LTE support (rather than the work around LTE support many users were activating). There’s still no word on which LTE bands will be supported but we here in Canada should be good as the original unofficial LTE support worked here.
Again, this is pretty disappointing news to me and I’ve got my fingers crossed that Google is just leaking all these things to lower our expectations for I/O. But with each passing day, it seems to be less and less likely that this will be the case…
