Rumour: Samsung To Price The S5 Lower Than Competitors Flagship Devices

The Galaxy S5 is official and it will undoubtedly sell millions and millions around the world.  One nice little tid bit/rumour that is circulating states that Samsung might actually drop the cost on their new flagship device.  The report comes out of the Korean media who claims that the S5 will come cheaper than other flagship devices, like the newly announced Sony Xperia Z2.

Now there have been rumours that Samsung is planning to launch another more “premium” Galaxy S5 in a couple of months so it’s possible that the “premium” model carries the more traditional flagship price while the “normal” model gets a bit of a discount.

Regardless of why they drop the price, we, the consumers, will hopefully benefit.  We’ll be sure to keep you posted with any new updates we hear about pricing.
