Red Xperia Z1 Gets Pictured In The Wild Running Android 4.4.2

Well would you look at that.  A shiny new limited edition Sony Xperia Z1 has surfaced online.  Not only is it wearing red (and looking good I might add), but it’s also packing Android 4.4.2!  That’s right, it’s running a version of Android that we haven’t even seen on the Nexus devices yet!  And doesn’t it seem pretty fitting that a tasty new chocolate treat is done up in red doesn’t it?

There’s no word on where this device will be headed or when it will be available but good ol’ Canada seems as good a place as any doesn’t it?  There’s also no word on when this update may roll out.  Sony stated that Android 4.3 would be rolling out in a month so hopefully Android 4.4 follows closely after that.  Or better yet, they forego Android 4.3 and jump right to Android 4.4!

Wishful thinking, I know, but one can dream right?
