HTC Butterfly 2 Front Panel Leaks
HTC is working hard to make their way back to the top of the smartphone world. The HTC One has definitely helped the company regain some of their former glory and there are many out there excited for the Mini and Max version. Another device that has done well for HTC is the HTC Butterfly and if these latest rumours are to be believed, the sequel will be a winner too.
What you see in the photo above (and in the photos below) is alledgedly the HTC Butterfly 2. This device will come equipped with the super popular Snapdragon 800 processor and a beautiful 5.2″ Full HD display. There’s a good chance that it will also come with HTC’s UltraPixel camera and Boom Sound as well. Design wise, it is definitely reminiscent of HTC’s Windows Phones with its colourful shells and despite my dislike for Windows Phones OS, I thought HTC’s Windows powered phones were beautiful.
One thing that could really hep set this phone apart from the competition is that it is rumoured to be completely waterproof. While it’s not the first phone to go waterproof, it’s the first HTC phone that will get this very practical treatment and it’s definitely a “feature” that will help sell the device.
The original Butterfly was only released in select markets so there’s a good chance that the sequel will follow suit. However, I’d love to see this phone reach more markets as it could definitely help HTC regain some market share.
