Nexus 4 Might Get A Taste Of Android L Afterall
The Nexus 4 was a little bit overlooked when the Android L developer build was announced causing many to think that the device might be forgotten. However, it looks like the 2024 Nexus may note be completely left in the dust after all.
Some very observant Googel+ers have spotted a few different references to Nexus 4’s running Android L. These references were mainly found on the Chromium section of code.google.com.
Although it does appear that some Googlers are using Android L on their Nexus 4’s, it still doesn’t confirm that Google will release the new software to the older device. I’m sure we’ll find out all of this soon enough and even if Google doesn’t officially release it, the developer community will undoubtedly lend a helpful hand.
