Moto X Play Now Available
Motorola has officially launched their next Moto X here in Canada, the Moto X Play, and while it’s not quite their flagship device (that would be the Moto X Style), it’s a solid offering that’s definitely worth a look. Here’s a rundown of the specs:
- 5.5″ 1080p Display
- Snapdragon 615 Processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB Internal Storage
- microSD Card Slot
- 21MP Camera
- 5MP Front Facing Camera
- 3630 mAh Battery
- Android 5.1.1
Unlike the Samsung phablets that launched today, the Moto X Play comes with a much more modest price tag. The outright price sits between $400 and $450, which is about the price of Samsung’s new devices on contract. If you do opt to pick up the Moto X Play on term the most you’ll pay is $100 while some carriers are offering it for $0. You can currently grab the device on Bell, Telus, SaskTel, Koodo and Videtron while WIND will join the party shortly.
