Marshmallow Roadmap For Samsung Galaxy Series Leaks
Marshmallow has been rolling out to numerous devices over the past month or two but the big hitter in the Android world, Samsung, has yet to release any Marshmallow treats. Well the wait will soon be over for some devices if this leaked document is any indication.
The above image, which was posted by PhoneArena, gives us a pretty clear road map for the Marshmallow updates for Samsung. The current flagships (the Note 5, S6 Edge+, S6, and S6 Edge) are all slated to get their taste of Marshmallow sometime this month. The 2024 phablets won’t be too far behind as the Note 4 and Note Edge slated for April while the 2024 flagship, the S5, is expected to get its update in May. Two flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S2 8″ and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7″, are also expected to get updated in May. Rounding off Phase 1 of Samsung’s update plans is the Galaxy Alpha which should get Marshmallow in June.
It definitely would have been nice to see some of these updates already out, especially for the current flagships, but hopefully there won’t be any major issues with any of these updates.
