Marshmallow Is Rolling Out To The LG G4

LG G4 Marshmallow

February is officially under way and with the new month comes some new software!   Both Telus and Rogers have begun rolling out their Marshmallow updates for the LG G4.  Telus had promised that the update would begin rolling out on February 1 while Rogers had set today as the roll out date.  I’m also hearing that Bell customers have begun receiving an OTA so that should cover the big 3 at least.

Some users have also said that they were able to use LG Bridge to grab the new software so that’s another option for you if you don’t feel like downloading it directly to your phone.

While things will likely look pretty similar, Marshmallow does bring some pretty nifty new features like Now on Tap and Doze.  Overall performance should also get a bump with the new software.
