Geekbench Scores Of The Nexus 6/X Are Here
It’s now October, which is known as the month when new Nexus device rumours and leaks reach their peak. This time, it’s a full on benchmark of the Motorola-made Nexus 6 (or Nexus X).
Geekbench posted fresh numbers from a supposed Nexus 6/X benchmark last week and it seems this phone will take the #1 position for the highest scoring Android phone yet. While it’s still behind Apple’s iPhone 6, it by no means makes it any slower, and considering previous Nexus phones have been extremely cheap compared to their competitor’s flagships, it’s going to be a great phone.
The single core benchmark results in a score of 1040, putting it slightly higher than the LG G3 but below the 64-bit iPhone 5s and 6. As for the multi-core benchmark, the 3199 score puts it well above all the other phones, including the iPhone 6.
It’s too bad the Note 4 wasn’t included but since it’s going to be released this month, the official score will be up shortly. As a reminder, the Nexus 6/X is going to be coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC, 3 GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 13MP/2MP cameras.
The phone is expected to be announced sometime this month, alongside HTC’s Nexus 9 tablet and Android L.
