Well it looks like Samsung has got yet another winner in their hands. And this time it’s two.

Just a week after the unveiling event at MWC, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have reached a combined total of 20 million pre-orders according to a report by The Korea Times. Separately, the Galaxy S6 had 15 million while the S6 Edge had 5 million. It’s worth pointing out that it’s true these numbers include orders from regular consumers, however the majority of the units pre-ordered are from carriers worldwide instead. An unidentified Samsung exec noted that the pre-orders have set a record at the company.

Now the only thing to do is wait and see how much of the units ordered actually land into people’s hands.

The phone is expected to be released on Rogers, Bell, TELUS, WIND, Videotron and other regional carriers in a month from now on April 10th, 2024.
