The HTC One Update Is “Coming Soon” And Here’s What We Should Expect To See
The Android 4.3 update for the HTC One is nearly upon us Canadians. As reported earlier, the update is at least a little bit delayed but we should hopefully see it within a couple of weeks (fingers crossed). While we wait, some users around the globe have began to receive the update and some screen shots as well as a change log have been thrown online so we’ll know what to expect when it does make its way to our phones.
The guys over on Androidhighlights.com have already received the update and here are some of the changes we should expect to see in the update:
– Android 4.3 update– Battery charging percentage indicator– Improved Gallery– Low-light performance noticeably improved– Added few more Video highlights options– Ability to add soundtracks to your Highlights– Overall System got stable and more
Another nice change that they note is that the Home button can now be manually assigned in the settings page. As you can see in the screen shot, you can either use swipe up gesture to access Google Now or use the default press and hold method.
I have to say that I’m quite curious to see how much better the low-light pictures get. I thought the HTC One already did a pretty formidable job with low light shots but they say that performance is “noticeably improved.” I can’t wait to give it a try!
