Good news on a Friday morning for any Rogers Acer Iconia Tab A501 users. According to a tip on MobileSyrup, the device is getting it’s ICS update now. If you’ve got one of these devices, check in your setting to see if an OTA is waiting for you.
The device itself is a relatively average device for its era. It’s got a Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAm, 10.1″ 1280×800 screen, and came to the market running Honeycomb. While the device is decent, the ICS update will definitely bring some new life to a device that may seem like it’s on it’s way out.
