CM10 Continues…Next Stop Galaxy S II

So the CyanogenMod Team has been hard at work.  If you’re unfamiliar with the CyanogenMod Team, they’re a team of developers who simply help make Android better.  They develop stock Android builds for numerous devices.  These builds not only help to bring some of the non-manufacturer-updated devices up to the latest versions of Android, but they also add many little customizations and tweaks for all.

Last week they had a nightly build running of CyanogenMod 10 Jelly Bean running on an LG Optimus 4x HD.  And now, they have a nightly build running on one the greatest devices to date, the Galaxy S II.  I have no doubt that CM10 will extend the life of this device and make it even better than it already is.

There’s still several bugs that need to be ironed out but if you’re impatient (like me) and a little adventurous (like me), you can head over to XDA-Developers or the CyanogenMod site to check things out.
