Google Now Launcher Now Available In Play Store – Limited Compatibility

The Google Expeirence Now Launcher which debuted with the Nexus 5 is now available for download in the Play Store, but the number of devices that it is  officially compatible with is quite limited.  As it stands, only Google Play Edition devices and Nexus devices running Android 4.4 will be able to download and use (at least officially) the fancy new launcher.  Given that we don’t have access to the GPE devices here in Canada, that basically limits us to the Nexus devices.

Of course, it’s pretty easy to side-load this app onto basically any Android device if you really want to get it.  I’ve found that this launcher drains the battery a good deal faster than your traditional launcher so keep that in mind.
