Google Now Gets Updated: Car Rentals And More
Today is a bright day for Google Now users everywhere as a new update brings a load of new features for all our information needs. Google didn’t leave anybody out releasing new stuff for the travelers, music lovers, or for those who just like to stay home and watch some TV.
For travelers, Google Now can now show rental car information when you need it. This information will be based on your Gmail account, as the app already did for hotel information and flight details. So now every part of your next trip is covered by Google Now and should be available to you right when you need it.
The new commute sharing card will give you an alert whenever someone close to you leaves work for home or vice-versa. This way you’ll know when it’s time to start cooking dinner for the family, or maybe clean-up the mess from that afternoon snack. Whatever reason suits you, it’s a handy feature that should help a lot of people out there.
If you’re on your way to a concert, Google will automatically show your ticket, as well as relevant info regarding the event. And, if you don’t want to arrive home late, Google will notify you about the last train or bus home.
Now TV fans can say “listen to TV” to get more information on what you’re watching, and if you do enjoy something, you can always set a reminder for music artists, movie actors, directors that will warn you when they release new material.
You can get the update on Google Play Store, so be sure to get all of these features. Bear in mind, there is no way to know which of these are region exclusive so be sure to try them out and let us know in the comments below.
